You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location onsite.\nIn this role, you will impact our manufacturing processes by optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our operations. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and oversee advanced machining processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.\nDevelop and implement NC programs to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.\nAnalyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to team members.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\nProven experience in NC programming, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.\nStrong knowledge of NC programming in NX and using Vericut verification software.\nFamiliar with GD&T concepts and symbols.\nExperience with data analysis and statistical process control.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nProven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.\nFamiliar with NX or similar CAD software.\nWE VALUE\nAdvanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.\nExperience in driving process improvements and achieving results.\nAbility to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.\nExperience programming 3, 4, and 5 axes mills. \nExperience programming lathes.\nExperience, using NX programming software.\nExperience, machining, aluminum, titanium and Inconel aerospace parts.\nExperience, creating work holding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining aerospace components.\nPAY TRANSPARENCY\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $97,750 - $147,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
