Your expertise will help shape the future of our manufacturing operations, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.\nYou will report directly to our Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Manager and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON location.\nIn this role, you will join the AME team in supporting the Cambridge site’s manufacturing operations by resolving production issues, driving process improvements, and directly contributing to the overall productivity and success of our organization.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDefine and validate production processes; specify, procure, and commission new equipment; and create clear, operator-ready work instructions.\nPartner with operations to diagnose and resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues, ensuring stable and efficient operations.\nLead structured problem-solving efforts (RCCA, 5-Why, Fishbone) and drive corrective and preventive actions through full closure.\nEngineer custom tools, jigs, and fixtures to improve repeatability, ergonomics, and throughput.\nLead continuous-improvement initiatives focused on cycle-time reduction, waste elimination, and process automation.\nWork closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to resolve technical challenges.\nAnalyze production data to identify trends, quantify process capability (Cp/Cpk), and recommend targeted improvements.\nSupport NPI activities by translating design intent into manufacturable processes, coordinating pilot builds, and ensuring smooth ramp-up to full-rate production.\nThe Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering \nMinimum 10 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization. \nWE VALUE\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and/or Electronics manufacturing.\nExperience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes. \nExperience in the use of Lean tools\nExperience with design and development processes\nBasic knowledge of the field's standards and specifications\nDemonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams\nStrong communication skills\nApplication of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes\nIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision\nWillingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $81,200 to $108,200 in Cambridge, ON.
