The outstanding candidate would have hands-on experience including:\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy software that support engine test automation and data acquisition\nMaintain and support existing software solutions and tools\nAble to diagnose software/hardware issues quickly \nImplement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following internal standards and best practices\nAssist in the integration of instrumentation and hardware interfaces into software systems\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and validation of software releases to ensure system reliability\nWork closely and collaborate with test engineers and internal customers to gather requirements and deliver functional software solutions\nWork with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in lab environments, often involving interaction between software and hardware systems\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics\nSoftware Coding Experience in 2 or more languages, like Python, Java, C++\n4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle including validation and verification\nFamiliarity with basic Linux/Unix command line tools\nWE VALUE\nMasters degree in computer science or engineering\nExperience testing software applications in open and close-loop environments\n4+ years with data structures and SQL databases\n4+ years experience with ethernet based communication protocols like Modbus TCP/IP, OPCUA\n4+ years experience with object-oriented programming\nFamiliarity with ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 is of value.\nA work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities\nKnowledge of software configuration management and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) tools such as Git, bitbucket, JIRA, and/or Subversion\nGood communication skills, both oral and written, with our customers\nProven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment\nWillingness to respond quickly with quality solutions in support of our customers\nA growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, or technologies as needed\nBENEFITS OF WORKING AT HONEYWELL AEROSPACE\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
