You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.\n Responsibilities:\nAs a member of Control Systems Design project team, provide Control Systems input by performing the following duties:\nDevelop closed-loop controls design for ECS and VCS systems\nDevelop simulation models of thermal mechanical systems, experience with Simscape and modeling of vapor cycle systems strongly preferred\nLead model development activities owning the schedule, compiling and presenting \nDevelop hardware and software requirements specifications \nPerform hardware, software and system integration testing \nWrite system verification plans and procedures \nTravel to internal and external customer sites to provide Control Systems Engineering support\nDemonstrate outstanding performance in a team environment to meet intensive task schedule for assigned project(s)\nThe Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nMasters or PhD Degree in Electrical, Systems Design, Aerospace, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering \nMinimum of 5 years of experience with Vapor Cycle and Environmental Controls systems engineering\nMinimum 3 years of experience with DOORS, MATLAB, Simscape\nWE VALUE\nAerospace Experience \nDemonstrated knowledge in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics and thermal system modeling and closed-loop controls\nProven experience in hardware/software requirement development and integration for ECS applications\nIn-depth knowledge of major aircraft OEM development standards is a strong asset\nAdaptability to a variety of assignments \nAbility to proactively identify and resolve problems in an effective/efficient/organized manner \nGood listening and negotiating skills \nAbility to deal tactfully, ethically and confidently with internal and external customers to resolve system issues\nKnowledge of DO-178C, DO-331, ARP4754 and ARP4761 \nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing\nThe annual base salary range for this position starts at $99,100 is in Mississauga, Ontario.
