Our systems are on board 90% of the world's aircraft - serving commercial aviation, defense and space operators from integrated flight deck platforms with 30-plus years in service to radiation-hardened systems trusted for human spaceflight.\nEmbedded Engineer Responsibilities\nTechnical SkillsHas knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications\nExperience with DO178 software verification and validation\nContributing to planning and executing project subtasks to meet customer specifications (designing, testing, etc). \nAssists in the completion of products to achieve certification and customer acceptance. \nMay support other Engineers, Technicians and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.\n\nCommunication SkillsContributes to project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers. \nInterfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance. \nCommunicates any non-compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.\n\nQualifications\nBachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience and 2-4 years of relevant experience\nExperience as software design engineer in either the Cellular or SATCOM sectorsExperience with DO178 software verification and validation\n\nExperience of Python or Linux\nExposure to agile methods and source control systems\nTechnical background in wireless communications and in particular modem/wireless transceiver architectures.\nKnowledge of signal processing and DSP would be a distinct advantage.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
