The role executes cycle counts, physical inventory activities, inventory investigations, and material control processes while supporting stores operations, labs, production, and planning functions.\nYou will report directly to our Sr Materials Mgmt Manager and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON location on an on-site work schedule.\nThe position works closely with the Inventory Analyst to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies, improve inventory accuracy, support KPI reporting, and maintain audit-ready inventory records.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInventory Accuracy & Physical Inventory\nPerform scheduled cycle counts and annual physical inventory activities.\nVerify part numbers, quantities, locations, status, and unit of measure during inventory counts.\nConduct blind counts and support recount activities when required.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies through physical verification and transaction history review.\nIdentify and escalate inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and control issues.\nMaintain accurate count documentation and inventory records. \nSupport to the Inventory Analyst\nAssist the Inventory Analyst with inventory reconciliation activities.\nResearch inventory variances and provide supporting documentation for inventory adjustments.\nSupport root cause investigations related to inventory inaccuracies.\nPrepare inventory reports, count results, and variance summaries.\nAssist with KPI tracking including inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, location accuracy, and transaction compliance.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing inventory discrepancies and improving inventory controls.\nSupport audits by gathering inventory records, count documentation, and transaction history. \nInventory Transactions & Material Control\nComplete and verify inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and location changes.\nScrap picking and decanting material for disposal\nEnsure ERP transactions accurately reflect physical inventory movements.\nMaintain material traceability, identification, segregation, and storage requirements.\nSupport inventory adjustment processes following approved procedures and authorization requirements.\nMonitor inventory locations and correct storage discrepancies. \nStores & Operational Support\nSupport filling KanBans, Supermarkets, material put-away, kitting, replenishment, and material distribution activities.\nMonitor Kanban and min/max inventory locations and identify replenishment issues.\nAssist with shortage investigations and material availability concerns.\nMaintain organized, safe, and audit-ready inventory locations.\nSupport internal customers including Production, Engineering, Laboratories, Receiving, and Planning teams. \nContinuous Improvement & Compliance\nParticipate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.\nIdentify recurring inventory errors and recommend corrective actions.\nFollow all quality, safety, ESD, FOD, and material handling requirements.\nSupport internal and external audits as required. \nThe Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.\nMUST HAVE\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or stores operations role.\nMinimum 3 years of experience with physical inventory, cycle count experience, investigating inventory discrepancies and maintaining inventory accuracy.\nMinimum 3 years of experience using ERP systems.\nMinimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs safely.\nWE VALUE\nSAP experience preferred \nExperience supporting Inventory Analysts or Inventory Control teams.\nExperience in aerospace, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.\nKnowledge of Kanban, FIFO, min/max replenishment, and inventory control methodologies.\nForklift certification or material handling equipment experience.\nExperience with serialized, shelf-life controlled, or traceable inventory.\nLean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills. \nThe annual base salary range for this position is $61,000 - $82,000 in Cambridge, ON.
