You will split your time supporting Commercial Navigation Software IT infrastructure as well as site specific IT needs. Your expertise in IT hardware and software will be crucial in resolving technical issues and maintaining the efficiency of our technology infrastructure.\nYou will report directly to our Senior Software Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an onsite schedule.\nIn this role, you will have a direct impact on the productivity and effectiveness of our organization by ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer support.\n Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.\nInstall, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications.\nManage IT tickets and coordinate resolution with global IT teams.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.\nEnsure the security, reliability, and integrity of IT systems and data.\nMaintain IT documentation, procedures, and standards.\nSupport on-site infrastructure, networks, and virtualized environments.\nImplement new technologies and facilitate workload migrations.\nServe as the escalation point and manage vendor relationships.\nSupport IT transformation, service improvement, and business initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with Honeywell standards, policies, and processes.\nCollaborate with stakeholders on projects and process improvements.\nRepresent IT in site leadership meetings and business discussions.\nGather business requirements and coordinate solution delivery.\nSupport local projects and global standardization efforts.\nTravel as needed for infrastructure deployments and support.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent \n3+ years of experience in an IT technical support or a related role. \nStrong technical skills and knowledge of IT hardware and software. \nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. \nKnowledge of Service Management platforms and/or methodology.\nEnsure the Comm Nav lab is well maintained (5S).\nShould have demonstrated strong initiative and ownership in resolving critical IT issues. \nWE VALUE\nBachelor's degree in IT or a related field. \nExperience with DevOps toolchains and working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bamboo/Docker/Jenkins etc. \nTaking initiative to actively seek out improvement initiatives.\nTool scripting experience in python, bash etc. \nExperience with multiple Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux. \nVirtualization technologies such as VXRail, vSAN, and VCF/NSX.\nCertifications in relevant IT technologies. \nExperience in providing customer support.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. \nPossess strong knowledge on Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 OS, or RHEL LINUX -8.X and \nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. \nCCNA certification (CCNP desired, but not required)\n3-5 years of experience in operational support of enterprise infrastructure ecosystem.\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL AEROSPACE\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
