Your experience in hardware engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.\nYou will report directly to our Director of Engineering, working out of Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.\nIn this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.\nOn our team, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. You will have ownership for hardware engineering development.\nLead and coordinate hardware teams (board design, mechanical, FPGA, Safety etc.) in development of product hardware.\nDevelop project plans and support schedule development.\nRequirements: Use DOORS to create and/or trace hardware requirements to higher and lower-level requirements including validation and verification.\nLead team to develop and perform hardware verification tests. \nLead customer interactions and ensure timely and successful delivery of programs within scope and budget.\nInterface with Honeywell Aerospace production (factory) to produce hardware.\nExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. \nProven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.\nStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems engineering.\nThis isn't just another engineering role; it's an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that have a tangible impact on the world.
