We also design and manufacture antennas and precision positioners both for standalone aperture and positioner requirements as well as integrated sensor systems across many high-performance applications.\nDue to exciting growth, our Lansdale PA location is recruiting a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement test software and techniques to support integration, qualification and acceptance testing of electronic assemblies, subassemblies and systems.\nOur engineering team is comprised of 100+ professionals encompassing systems, software, RF, power amplifier, antenna, mechanical, reliability, test engineers and other specialties. Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, our ideal candidate has a strong engineering and programming background in Test supporting a diverse product portfolio through all stages of the product lifecycle. It's necessary to have proven capabilities in working across functions in a matrix organization to achieve operational results.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide test software engineering expertise and support while working collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-site teams to achieve customer satisfaction and operational excellence delivering results on business improvement objectives\nDesign, develop, and implement robust and reliable test solutions to interface with complex RF subsystems and assemblies in support of a fast-paced product development environment.\nImplement hardware/software protocols & engineering tools for new product development.\nDevelop application test software for multi-board/processor systems with both FPGAs and CPUs.\nDesign, develop, and implement intuitive communications interfaces between equipment and the user.\nAssignments are broad and may include developing/evaluating new techniques/plans/procedures.\nPerform technical assignments of an investigatory nature requiring minimal direction from senior engineering personnel.\nInterfacing directly with customers to provide suggestions/support to ensure design compliance with requirements.\nSupport Engineering and Operations with testing outside the normal test process, create test setups and test procedures as required.\nMUST HAVES:\nBS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. \nFive (5) + years relevant experience or equivalent experience/education as a Test Engineer designing, developing, and implementing detailed test strategies and test techniques to support the integration and acceptance testing of complex RF electronic assemblies, subassemblies and systems.\nFive (5) + years’ experience developing automated test scripts/programs in a text based IDE (VB.NET, C##, Python etc.) \nExperience with RF test equipment such as Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Power meters etc.\nThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. To be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\nWE VALUE:\nExperience with configuration management principles and tools (e.g., SVN, GIT, ClearCase).\nProficient in automating RF product acceptance test utilizing established test executive.\nKnowledge in the design/development/integration of software drivers for integration with hardware.\nWorking knowledge in common HW interfaces/data protocols (e.g., TCPIP, UDP, RS-422, USB, PCI, CAN).\nProficient in utilizing software debugging and integrity check tools.\nUnderstanding of computer HW/SW optimization techniques.\nExperience in developing software requirements to meet higher-level system goals.\nFamiliar with various test automation devices; limit switches, encoders, resolvers, relays, etc.\nExperience with testing the parameters of RF components; switches, amplifiers, up/down converters, etc.\nFamiliar with measuring and analyzing RF signals in the microwave and millimeter wave domains.\nFamiliarity with DoD industry and DSS security procedures (NISPOM).\nActive DOD SECRET security clearance or above.\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $148,000 - $186,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
