These complex systems serve as part of full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) systems, especially the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), and related hardware/software elements.\nAs a Lead Systems Engineer, you will serve as a technical focal point, drive systems architecture and integration, guide team members, and ensure controls systems meet the needs of both internal and external customers.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead end-to-end systems integration and architecture development for propulsion controls, ensuring strong traceability between requirements, control logic, and verification methods.\nDevelop and maintain requirements matrices, test strategies, and documentation alignment consistent with MBSE practices.\nPartner across functions to ensure unified control strategies and program convergence.\nProvide dependable customer-focused troubleshooting.\nLead field issue investigations, drive RCCAs, and support coordinated communication with airframers, operators, and field service engineering.\nMentor engineers through technical investigations, testing, review preparation, and design rationale.\nSupport organization’s cross-team collaboration norms and agile development process.\nManage planning, schedule alignment, and readiness activities across agile releases and engineering milestones.\nUS PERSON REQUIREMENT\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering\n5+ years engineering experience\nWE VALUE\nBackground in electrical engineering, electronic design, and circuit analysis.\nBackground in electrical test equipment and troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of product development lifecycle and systems engineering processes.\nExperience collaborating across diverse engineering teams and environments.\nFamiliarity with agile development frameworks, team ceremonies, retrospectives, and incremental planning. \nAbility to quickly analyze and apply new information and concepts.\nExperience leading a diverse and global team.\nAbility to manage a variety of complex tasks and people.\nAbility to adapt to evolving project needs and make autonomous decisions.\nBENEFITS\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
