You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and repairs as well as support manufacturing objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery.\nYou will report directly to our Repair and Overhaul Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.\nIn this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations. In addition, you will develop repair solutions that meet stringent quality and performance standards for cutting-edge aerospace technologies, contributing to cost savings, enhanced product quality, and timely delivery to meet customer expectations.\n Support manufacturing engineering efforts by assisting in process development and optimization to improve efficiency and product quality.\nCollaborate with production, quality, design, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.\nAssist in documentation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\nLead and drive the repair development process, from concept to implementation by designing and developing repairs for complex mechanical components and systems.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense industries\nExperience with manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality systems relevant to aerospace production\nExperience with process design and improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles\nExperience with manufacturing software tools such as CAD for process layout and ERP systems for production planning\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to define acceptable variations in mechanical parts.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures\nWE VALUE\nAdvanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is a plus\nExperience with aerospace manufacturing standards and certification processes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment\nKnowledge of automation technologies and data analytics applied to manufacturing processes\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.\nWe are currently not sponsoring applicants for work visas for this job.
