This is not a position for passive individuals needing daily task guidance or micro-management.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDirectly contribute to and successfully drive completion of program milestone deliverables such as Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), System Requirements Review (SRR), System Design Review (SDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Qualification Readiness Review (QRR), and Production Readiness Review (PRR).\nWork with Systems Engineers to incorporate traceable hardware requirements, software requirements, use cases, and acceptance test procedures to direct and coordinate development activities and meet customer contract requirements.\nWork with SMEs to directly support the creation of project documentation such as work estimates, project plans, resource loaded schedules, requirements specifications, interface control documents, acceptance test procedures, design assurance test procedures, operational models, and other contractually defined development deliverables.\nLead risk reduction planning, maintain decision matrixes, journalize development rationale information, and secure project artifacts using designated enterprise database tools and storage systems.\nLead meetings onsite, in-person, and remotely with various video conferencing tools.\nPerform related or other supporting engineering work assignments as business needs require.\nTravel infrequently to off-site domestic locations as needed (0-10%).\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the physical sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics\nMore than five (5) years of experience working with electronics design, development, and/or manufacturing of electronics systems.\nMore than five (5) years of experience working within stage-gate, structured product development, and/or regulated environments.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification, or the ability to obtain company sponsored PMP certification within 6mo of employment start.\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities, advanced problem-solving ability\nDemonstratable experience and proficiency with MS Project or the ability to develop independent proficiency withing 6mo of employment start.\nExperience knowledgably presenting technical information verbally, physically, and digitally to Customers, Senior Staff, and Subject Matter Experts\nAbility to obtain and maintain a company sponsored security clearance.\nWE VALUE\nMaster of Science (MS) degree in an Engineering discipline\nExperience deriving and managing requirement statements.\nAbility to drive technical teams to design and develop products using industry standard system engineering and project management tools and techniques.\nSelf-sufficient, self-directed functional task management with strong attention to detail and acumen for delivering projects on time and on schedule.\nFamiliarity with operations and quality management within an AS9100 development and manufacturing environment.\nExperience with DOORS NexGen or similar requirements management tool is a significant benefit.\nExperience with Cameo or similar model-based system engineering (MBSE) tool is a significant benefit.\nExperience with Jira or similar task management tool is a significant benefit.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.\nAbility to operate a computer and other standard office technology.\nAbility to proficiently write and verbally communicate clearly and effectively in English.\nAbility to work under deadlines and constraints while successfully multitasking across multiple program schedule and budget requirements.\nU.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS\nMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.\nAbout us:\nJoin a company that's reintroducing itself to the aviation community we've helped advance for more than a century.
