Your expertise in quality engineering, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company's success and reputation in the industry.\nYou will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, ON location on a hybrid work schedule.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.\nKeyResponsibilities\nLead and support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Honeywell Aerospace and industry quality standards.\nConduct nonconformance / noncompliance root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, engineering, customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitor quality metrics and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.\nParticipate in conducting audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.\nEstablishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to AS9100. \nMaintain the AS9100. Certification, host the external audits and lead the internal audits.\nMaintain site internal audit schedule.\nThe Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics/ Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical discipline)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering roles within electronics manufacturing / repair environments.\nMinimum 3 years of experience working with AS9100 quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to the industry.\nMinimum 3 years of experience working with quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis and audit. \nWE VALUE\nCertifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar is a plus.\nStrong data analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nProficiency with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).\nKnowledge on PPAP process\nProficient in conveying technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to drive process improvements and innovations to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 in Kanata, ON.
