The position collaborates cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to ensure processes, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and meet safety, quality, and cost objectives. Responsibilities include identifying process issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, designing experiments, and supporting documentation and fixture development to drive consistent, high-quality MMIC production.\n*Relocation assistance available\n Serve as the engineering authority for MMIC products across the product lifecycle, from transition from development through production and customer support \nProvide application engineering support to customers, including troubleshooting, technical guidance, and creation of datasheets and application notes \nPerform RF/microwave measurements, including product characterization, acceptance testing (ATP), and ongoing product performance monitoring \nSupport product development through IC package, test fixture, and evaluation PCB design, as well as modeling and simulation activities \nCollaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and generate technical reports \nAssist with production activities, including low-volume MMIC assembly, die inspection under microscopes, test support, and product delivery \nContribute to continuous improvement of processes and product performance through cross-functional teamwork and data-driven analysis \nParticipate actively in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, and customer requirements\nAssist in the design of IC packages, test fixtures, and evaluation printed circuit boards (PCB).\nSupport Engineering team in troubleshooting and preparation of technical reports.\nAssist design engineering team in modeling, simulation, and design tasks.\nCustomer support of MMIC products including application engineering support, generation of datasheets and application notes.\nCollaborate in team meetings and activities.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\nCoursework relating to RF design or Electromagnetics (RF theory).\nKnowledge in active device theory fundamentals (FETs and diodes).\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\nWE VA\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or related Engineering curriculum.\nMinimum of 2 years of RF circuit design or related experience.\nRF design, simulation or modeling experience using AWR or ADS simulation software.\nRF measurement experience such as small-signal s-parameters.\nKnowledge of RF/Analog circuits, FET transistor theory, and microwave fundamentals.\nExperience user of AutoCAD or Ansys, SolidWorks.\nUnderstanding of RF measurements using a vector network analyzer.\nDemonstrated adaptability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset, with strong organizational and time management skills in dynamic environments\nDOD work experience.\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.\nBENEFITS\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
