Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, develop, deploy, and support industrial control systems and automation solutions.\nConfigure and deploy Ignition Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)/ Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications in the production shop.\nDevelop Ignition projects including operator interfaces, dashboards, alarms, trends, and reporting.\n Configure Ignition Gateway services, tags, User-Defined Types (UDTs), tag history, alarm pipelines, security, and database connections.\n Develop PLC control logic and integrate PLCs with Ignition using Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) and industrial communication protocols.\nUtilize experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or equivalent.\nDevelop and troubleshoot Python scripting within Ignition for automation, data processing, and application functionality.\nIntegrate Ignition with SQL databases and develop queries for production data, equipment status, downtime, quality, and process monitoring.\nSupport deployment of Ignition applications across development, test, and production environments.\nPerform commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and validation of automated equipment and control systems.\nTroubleshoot PLC, HMI/SCADA, networking, instrumentation, communication, and database-related issues.\nDevelop reusable Ignition templates, UDTs, scripts, and standards to improve scalability and maintainability.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS platforms.\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\nProven experience in advanced manufacturing engineering with a focus on control systems and automation technologies.\nExperience with programming languages and tools relevant to controls engineering such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and HMI development environments.\nAbility to analyze and interpret manufacturing data to drive process improvements and operational excellence.\nWE VALUE\nHands on experience deploying ignition in a manufacturing environment.\nAdvanced degrees such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related fields\nExperience in implementing Industry 4.0 technologies and digital manufacturing solutions\nStrong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives\nKnowledge of emerging trends in automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing\nCommitment to continuous learning and professional development\nPAY TRANSPARENCY\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $156,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
