You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery of high-quality products.\nIn this role, you will have a significant impact on Honeywell Aerospace by driving the development and delivery of heat exchanger packs that meet customer requirements and industry standards. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of our projects and contributing to the growth of our business.\nFor Minnesota, the annual base salary range for this position is $97,000 to $122,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and execute a comprehensive supplier development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring the enhancement of supplier performance and capabilities.\nLead and provide mentorship to a team of supplier development engineers and professionals, ensuring their growth and the successful execution of supplier development projects.\nEstablish and enforce supplier performance standards, conduct regular assessments, and collaborate with suppliers to identify areas of improvement, ensuring quality and reliability.\nDrive innovation in supplier processes and product offerings, encouraging continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.\nFoster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, transparency, and mutual growth.\nIdentify and provide resources for supplier capability building, ensuring alignment with the organization's evolving needs and requirements.\nAssess and mitigate supplier-related risks, including disruptions, quality issues, and compliance concerns, safeguarding the supply chain.\nSeek cost-effective solutions while maintaining high quality.\nLead and manage projects related to heat exchanger packs from initiation to completion.\nDrive engineering projects and changes needed to support end items.\nTracking issues in Jira, escalate and drive solutions related to shortages or other manufacturing issues.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure successful project execution.\nMonitor project progress and take necessary actions to ensure timely delivery.\nIdentify and mitigate project risks while acting with urgency.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and support to team members.\nStrong ability to read and analyze engineering drawings, and support questions related to drawing changes.\n YOU MUST HAVE\n6+ years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related leadership role.\nProficiency in budget management and financial acumen.\nIn-depth knowledge of supplier development strategies, supplier relationship management, and quality control.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.\nWE VALUE\nBachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or a related field.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to drive change and influence stakeholders.\nProven track record of delivering results.\nExperience in supplier development and supplier relationship management.\nKnowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supplier development.\nKnowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace.\nStrong working knowledge of Jira, Teamcenter, and SAP.\nWorking knowledge of customer submittal process for Airbus, Boeing.\nWorking knowledge of change processes, both internal and external.\nGeneral knowledge of Packs and parts completed in Torrance.\nGeneral knowledge of heat exchangers and valves.\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.\nNo sponsorships - We are not currently sponsoring applicants for work visa for this job.
