As a senior technical authority, you will drive innovation, quality, and performance in our software infrastructure, setting industry benchmarks and empowering us for a digitally transformative future.\n Assist in the design, implementation, and maintainability of robust software architectures and applications that support automated test stations, ensuring reliability, modularity, and alignment with system-level requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate system requirements into well-defined software specifications and contribute to ongoing improvements in performance, usability, and integration.\nWork with industry-standard avionics and communication interfaces, such as ARINC 429, IEEE-1394, MIL-STD-1553, UART, RS-422, and fiber-optic-based systems.\nDevelop clear and comprehensive software documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, design records, and release notes, supporting maintainability and compliance. \nWrite clean, maintainable code in multiple programming languages, with proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C++, and adherence to safe coding practices and standards.\n YOU MUST HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field) from an accredited institution.\n0-1 year of hands-on software development experience, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of software components.\nBasic understanding of software development and toolchains such as SVN or Git.\nProficiency in Visual Studio .NET development using C++ or C#.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering, integration, and test teams.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\nWE VALUE:\nAdvance Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is a plus\nInternship or co-op experience in aerospace software design\nHands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), and digital/analog I/O instrumentation.\nFamiliarity with embedded systems or hardware-software integration\nBasic knowledge of Python, including developing automated scripts, tools, or test frameworks.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and/or software.\nSelf-motivated individuals who thrive under minimal supervision, consistently taking initiative, owning outcomes, and delivering results in fast-paced development and test environments.\nActive U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or higher) is preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is required based on program needs.\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS\nMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements\nBENEFITS\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
