You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with defense industry standards.\nIn this role, you will impact the successful delivery of aerospace defense and space programs, contributing to national security and advancing Honeywell’s position as a leader in defense technologies.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and manage defense munition programs ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.\nDevelop and implement program plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program execution and resolve issues proactively.\nMonitor program performance metrics and ensure compliance with defense industry standards and regulations.\nProvide leadership and guidance to program teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\nDirect the work and approve resource requirements and program estimates while leading integrated program teams utilizing Integrated Product Delivery & Support (IPDS) Process. \nGenerate and implement program plans and business requirements within approved budget and schedule constraints. \nCoordinate with various Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and Global Business Enterprise (GBE) to ensure their application programs are supported in terms of technical performance, schedule, and cost requirements \nEmploy PM tools and development processes, including statement-of-work (SOW) or Line of Balance (LOB), work-breakdown- structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE)\n YOU MUST HAVE\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in program management within aerospace defense or related sectors.\nStrong knowledge of defense munition program requirements, compliance, and regulatory standards.\nProven ability to develop and manage complex program plans including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.\nExperience with risk management and mitigation strategies specific to aerospace defense projects.\nProficiency in program management tools and methodologies applicable to defense and aerospace industries.\nWE VALUE\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.\nExperience managing programs in aerospace defense and space sectors.\nStrong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities tailored to complex defense projects.\nAdaptability to dynamic environments and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.\n7 years of experience or knowledge of the Aerospace industry specifically in navigation \nSix Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing; nice to have) \nStrong communication (oral and written) and executive presentation skills \nThis position requires Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, which certification of the two will be determined by the level of the position & meeting the minimum experience requirements of the certification. Candidates who do not currently hold the certification required for their position level must obtain the applicable certification within six (6) months of hire.
