You will perform multiple engineering activities to ensure the production of quality and cost-effective material, emphasizing continuous improvement activities.\nAs a Sr. Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will report directly to our Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork with cross functional team to manufacture and assemble MEMS and pressure sensors in a cleanroom environment.\nResponsible for wire bond processing, solder melt, and vacuum sealing processes for Sensors and MEMS product lines.\nAssist design engineering in the development, process refinement, problem resolution, and yield enhancement activities during new product development phase of product life cycle.\nPerform database management functions for Sensors and MEMS product lines.\nManage work priorities and commitments to maximize benefit to multiple manufacturing and developmental organizations.\nLead and strategically manage semiconductor manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.\nDevelop and execute comprehensive manufacturing strategies to drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustained growth.\nLead initiatives to ensure stringent compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a relentless commitment to the highest levels of product quality and reliability.\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.\n3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or assembly, with a proven track record of leading and innovating within semiconductor manufacturing operations.\nAbility and willingness to work on-site at Honeywell Aerospace\nExtensive knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and technologies.\nProven experience with process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction.\nStrong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and deliver on complex projects.\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance\nWE VALUE\nPrior experience with wire bonding, solder welding, and vacuum sealing on Pressure Sensor and MEMS products\nPrevious experience with database management processes\nPrior experience with yield analysis techniques and evaluation\nProven ability to drive successful product development.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex manufacturing challenges.\nAbility to interact with other technical personnel\nA continuous learning mindset and passion for staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $114,000.00 - $143,000.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
