Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and manage software engineering teams to deliver aerospace software solutions on time and within budget.\nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nDevelop and implement software development plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.\nMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and aerospace compliance requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software engineering processes and team performance.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\nMinimum 6 years of experience in software engineering management, preferably in aerospace or related industries.\nStrong expertise in software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and project management.\nProficiency with programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python, and experience with embedded systems software development.\nExperience with aerospace software standards such as DO-178C and knowledge of safety-critical software development practices.\nWE VALUE\nAdvanced degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.\nExperience leading large, distributed software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.\nKnowledge of model-based design and verification tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms and DevOps practices.\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.\nBENEFITS\nBeyond a performance-driven salary, you'll work alongside dedicated experts on technology that's advancing aviation.
