Ability to travel approximately 10%.\nYou will report directly to our Software Engineer Manager, and you’ll work out of our Raleigh, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nWorks with customer requirements to propose technical solutions\nActs as primary technical resource that collaborates with the client throughout the project and partners with the customer to develop requirements and propose technical solutions\nPerforms customer system integration planning and implementation\nEnsures network equipment meets customer technical specifications\nEnsures software configurations meet customer technical requirements\nEstablishes and monitors system performance, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions during the implementation\nDevelop customized tools and scripts to assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner with high quality.\nWorks closely with the Level 3 support team to resolve complex issues related to device communications and configuration\nSupports creation of standard best practice procedures for technical elements of the system that are effective and repeatable\nAdditional Skills\nExcellent written and oral communication \nExcellent team player, self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised \nAbility to plan and maintain schedules \nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities \nUses leadership skills to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways to satisfy the customer’s needs \nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions \nBroad technical depth in integration and operation of complex systems\nAbility to troubleshoot IP networking issues by using tools such as Wireshark, ping, traceroute and packet analysis. \nUnderstanding programming logic and the ability to troubleshoot scripts by following code mainly Python, and using SQL queries\n YOU MUST HAVE\n1+ years of experience in customer service or professional services working with customers\n2+ years of experience in working with solutions involving software applications deployed in Azure\n2+ years of experience in Core IP Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, VPN)\n2+ years of experience in working with Firewalls, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), Load Balancing \n2+ years of experience with Oracle or/and MySQL databases, and Microsoft Windows Server\nWE VALUE\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems\nExperience in business process definition and design to meet overall business objectives. \nExperience with Cloud Infrastructure and Software Applications deployed in Azure preferred\nMicrosoft SQL Server experience\nExperience with electricity/gas/water metering and/or electric utilities a plus but not required\nExperience with process automation for software applications\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\nIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
