Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.\n WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AND DO:\nLearn how to design, develop, and validate analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits, including schematics, PCB layouts, and embedded hardware, to meet product and production requirements.\nGain experience in selecting components, integrating sensors, microcontrollers, and power management circuits, and developing or supporting firmware and test fixtures to ensure seamless integration with product and manufacturing processes.\nDevelop practical skills in board-level testing, debugging, fault-finding, and root-cause analysis on electronic assemblies and test equipment, and learn how corrective actions improve reliability and performance.\nBecome familiar with the safety, EMC, and environmental regulations and standards that electronic designs must meet (e.g., IEC 61010, IEC 61326, RoHS, CE/UKCA, and ATEX/IECEx where applicable).\nLearn how to prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials, design specifications, test procedures, and design and change records.\nWork alongside cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, quality, and manufacturing, to see how electronic requirements and specifications are defined and how NPI builds are supported.\n WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nCurrently working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.\nA foundational understanding of analogue and digital circuit design, power supply design, signal conditioning, and microcontroller-based embedded systems, gained through your studies or projects.\nSome familiarity with reading and producing electronic schematics and PCB layouts using EDA/CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar), with a willingness to develop this further.\nIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:\nInterest in progressing towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or further study in Electronic Engineering or a related field.\nAny exposure to a manufacturing environment, electronics design, design for manufacture and test (DFM/DFT), or test engineering, whether through coursework, projects, or previous work experience.\nSome experience with embedded firmware (e.g., C/C++), wireless connectivity, instrumentation, or sensor technologies through personal, academic, or hobby projects.\nCuriosity and a developing analytical and problem-solving approach.\nEnthusiasm for learning and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nPassion for innovation and a desire to grow through continuous improvement.\nABOUT HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGIES\nHoneywell Technologies Inc.
