Your leadership will directly impact revenue enablement, contract quality, and business performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nContract Strategy & Execution\nDevelop and implement contract strategies, policies, templates, tools and standard terms aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements \nOversee the negotiation, review, and execution of procurement contracts and other commercial agreements with a focus on standardization and automation of contracting processes\nPartner with Procurement, ISC and GRE leadership to support deal structuring and negotiation strategy \nPeople Leadership & Organizational Capability\nLead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of contracts professionals and attorneys \nEstablish clear performance expectations, KPIs, dashboards and governance standards\nDrive talent development, succession planning, and hiring strategies to build organizational capability\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement\nAI-Driven Contracting & Digital Transformation\nLeverage AI and automation tools to streamline contract review, clause analysis, and lifecycle management\nImplement AI-powered contract analytics to improve risk identification, compliance monitoring, and decision-making\nPartner with technology teams to enhance contract management systems (CLM) with predictive insights and automation\nEnable team adoption of data-driven contracting practices and digital tools\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with Procurement, ISC and GRE, Legal, Finance, Credit, and Operations to resolve contractual issues and manage risk \nServe as a trusted advisor on commercial terms, risk exposure, and contracting best practices \nEnsure alignment between contracting strategies and broader business and operational objectives\nGovernance & Operational Excellence\nEnsure adherence to contracting policies, approval authorities, and governance processes \nDrive continuous improvement in contract processes, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time \nEstablish metrics to track contract performance, risk trends, and operational effectiveness\n You Must Have\n8+ years of experience in contracting, contract negotiation, or related commercial/legal roles \nStrong knowledge of commercial contract law, terms and conditions, and risk management \nExperience using or implementing AI/automation in contract lifecycle management (CLM)\nStrong understanding of digital contracting tools and analytics platforms\nDemonstrated experience negotiating high-value contracts \nProven experience leading and developing high-performing teams \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment \nWe Value\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills \nStrong business acumen, balancing commercial objectives with risk management \nExperience in a global or matrixed organization \nBachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field (JD or advanced degree preferred) \nHoneywell Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
