Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll learn how complex engineering solutions are translated into accurate cost estimates, competitive bids, and successful customer proposals.\n Key Responsibilities\nSupport the analysis of customer requirements and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to help develop compliant technical solutions.\nAssist in preparing cost estimates, bills of materials, and commercial proposals for security, fire, and building automation projects.\nCollaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to understand project costs, risks, and opportunities.\nContribute to supplier quotation reviews and the identification of cost-effective solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in technical reviews, proposal governance activities, and customer-focused discussions.\nHelp maintain accurate technical and commercial documentation while following company quality, compliance, and audit standards\n YOU MUST HAVE\nCurrently studying, or recently completed, a degree in Engineering, Technology, Building Services, Business, or a related discipline.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in engineering solutions, estimating, or pre-sales activities.\nAbility to interpret information, work with data, and develop accurate technical and commercial documentation.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a willingness to develop advanced technical and commercial skills.\nPositive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn, take initiative, and work effectively within cross-functional teams.\nWHAT YOU'LL GAIN\nPractical experience supporting projects exceeding £1 million in value.\nExposure to industry-leading Security, Fire, IBMS, and BMS technologies.\nDevelopment of technical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working with experienced professionals across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.\nInsight into how major engineering projects are estimated, priced, and successfully delivered.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
