Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.\nYou will report directly to the HSS/IMC Sr. HSE Director, and you’ll work 100% onsite at our Lincolnshire IL location.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nManagement and continual improvement of Health, Safety, Environmental programs compliance.\nAdministering the Honeywell Health, Safety, Environmental Management System.\nProvide technical assistance regarding health, safety, environmental compliance requirements.\nIntegrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations.\nDrive Excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training.\nDevelop and implement environmental and safety programs to maintain compliance with all HSE regulatory and company requirements.\nDeploy and manage environmental and safety initiatives to continually improve performance of Environmental programs and processes.\nTechnical oversight and project management of safety and environmental capital projects.\nPerform site aspect and impact maturity assessments of the HSE management system.\nMeasure key HSE indicators and implement plans to address gaps.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor's degree in occupational safety, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.\n3+ years of progressive safety, health, and environmental experience.\nIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.\nExperience with HSE Management systems and compliance tools.\nWE VALUE\nExperience in a manufacturing environment.\nEnvironmental Compliance experience, especially Hazardous Waste management experience.\nBilingual (Spanish) skills at an intermediate conversational proficiency.\nPast experience implementing and sustaining HSE management systems (ISO 14001/45001).\nASP (Associate Safety Professional), CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or other similar certification.\nPassion for promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.\nStrong business acumen and ability to align HSE engineering with organizational goals.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nUse innovative thinking to drive continuous improvement projects.\nAbility to inspire and motivate a team.\nABOUT HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGIES\nHoneywell Technologies is a global, pure-play automation company with a legacy of innovating to help solve the world’s most mission-critical challenges, enhancing the quality of life for people and communities around the world.
