Your work will directly influence the quality of products deployed in mission critical environments across global industries.\nYou will develop advanced test strategies, contribute to automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross disciplinary engineering teams to validate highly integrated hardware/software solutions\nYou will report directly to our Senior Software Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Framingham, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule\n Key Responsibilities\nDevelop and enhance automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to increase test coverage and efficiency.\nLeverage and evolve AI best-practices to enable your test automation and manual testing deliverables to become more reliable, effective and efficient.\nDesign, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and system level testing.\nValidate complex embedded systems, IoT devices, building control platforms, and integrated hardware/software products.\nAnalyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve system reliability and performance.\nCollaborate closely with software, hardware, systems, and quality engineering teams to drive product readiness and ensure compliance with industry standards.\nDocument test procedures, results, and technical findings for internal stakeholders and regulatory needs.\nMentor and support junior team members in test methodology, automation, and debugging practices when needed\n YOU MUST HAVE:\n4+ years of experience applying verification and validation (V&V) methodologies, including designing and executing test plans for complex software/hardware systems.\n4+ years of experience with test automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and testing of embedded, IoT, or hardware/software integrated products.\nWE VAULE:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience with automation tools (e.g., pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, LabVIEW, or similar).\nKnowledge of industry standards such as UL, IEC, ISO, or regulatory compliance requirements.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, BACnet, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP).\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system behaviors.\nAbility to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.\nCommitment to continuous learning, engineering excellence, and innovation.\nExperience testing embedded firmware, electronics, connected devices, or building automation technologies is a plus \nThe annual base salary range for this position is $97,400 - $122,000.
