You will collaborate with software, product, data, and platform teams while continuing to develop hands-on expertise in production AI and software engineering.\nYou will report directly to our Director of Engineering, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.\nNote: For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild applications and software components using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. \nDevelop and enhance prompt workflows, pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and semantic-search capabilities \nDevelop Python-based AI/ML applications, APIs, services, and supporting software components.\nIntegrate AI models and services with existing software applications.\nAssist with model evaluation, testing, performance measurement, and optimization.\nParticipate in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI/ML solutions.\nCollaborate with product, data, software, and platform teams to deliver business-aligned AI solutions.\nParticipate in architecture, technical design, and code reviews.\nTroubleshoot complex AI/ML and software issues and perform root-cause analysis.\nEnsure AI solutions meet software quality, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability expectations.\n YOU MUST HAVE\n2+ years of hands-on AI/ML software engineering experience, including developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments. \n2+ years of hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. \n2+ years of experience with prompt engineering, pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.\n2+ years of programming/software engineering experience using Python, with demonstrated ability to develop clean, maintainable, production-quality software.\n3+ years of software engineering/programming experience, with strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one additional programming language such as C++ or Java.\nWE VALUE\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with commonly used AI/ML frameworks and libraries & Experience with Azure and/or Gemini cloud platforms.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes & model deployment and CI/CD for ML workflows.\nKnowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
