He/she is responsible for PM Governance maturity & spreading the PM best practice among the Project Owners within LOB.\nThe PMO leader will oversee the end to end product development from planning to execution to product launch of integrated electronic, mechanical and software based industrial control and Internet of Things (IoT) products. He will be expected to manage Top programs while working with widely dispersed global development teams. \nKey Responsibilities:\nPMO Leadership\nBuilds and maintains relationship with GBE partners, customers and executive leadership to enable effective program execution meeting customer commitments at GBE level.\nResponsible for LOB level project delivery by working closely with engineering, marketing and business leaders both at HTS and global locations.\nMentor and nurture global program management competency within GBE.\nDrive consistent PM practices in the GBE at all levels (EM, PM, PL etc)\nLeads cross- functional, cross-cultural and virtual program teams of top programs including Technology, Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Customer Support and Training across the globe to successfully achieve the program & business goals.\nSuccessful planning, development, and execution of the assigned product and service development and/ or certification programs to fulfill contractual and business requirements within approved budget & schedule constraints. \nIntroduce the product thru Factory and arrange training of the Sales and Operations team on the product.\nNegotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups; settle differences with minimum noise; win concessions without damaging relationships; be direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; has a good sense of timing. \nDeals effectively with various domestic and foreign third-parties (i.e., customers, vendors, and partners) for the benefit of all programs \nAssess unclear, complex, and ambiguous situations and reduce into distinct, clear, timely, and stable direction for the development team \nPro-active management of risks and opportunities ensuring that appropriate actions are planned and executed for risk mitigation and opportunity achievement. Organizational Engagement - Engages all levels of Management across the organization by exception to resolve resource conflicts, remove roadblocks, & implement risk mitigations. \nDirect and manage the process of scope definition and change control, including estimating and negotiations of program contract and scope variations. \nReporting status of programs at various levels of the organization. \nShould be able to align with the business goals and be a part of the pipeline creation, business roadmap.\nAbility to understand business and prioritizing the projects within the pipeline for maximum gains. Bringing in long term business success perspective to meet business strategic objectives, rather than short term needs.\nWorks in partnership with project managers of other programs which are part of the larger program and effectively coordinates dependencies, milestones, risks, integration goals and deliverables as expected of the master program plan. \nEnsures the programs projects are executed in alignment with strategic goals of the business and the Honeywell Operation System (HOS) targets.\nExert influence in developing and maintaining Organizational values, systems & culture, process maturity that ensure highest value to the SBG partners & HON customers\nEnable effective communication, cross collaboration and coordination across all stake holders for information dissemination and sharing. \nPrioritizes key issues, and takes quick appropriate action with minimal support to resolve prior to program impact\nAbility to bring in Business know how and best practices to control and reduce program cost and time\nActively enagage and deliver PMO excellence initiatives like Cycle Time Reduction, Compliance & Vitality improvement\nActively pursue and contribute to VPD, HOS excellence & Cultural Transformation\nProgram Management\nSoft Skills\n\nStrategic Impact:\nBusiness Growth & Plan:\nYOU MUST HAVE\nBachelors / Masters Degree in Engineering\nPMP or equivalent certification preferred.\nMBA or any other Management Diploma/Certificate/Degree would be an added advantage\nWE VALUE:\n15 years of overall industry experience \n8 years program management or project leadership experience \n5 years of proven experience developing integrated electronic, mechanical and software based products\n3 years of proven experience working in a diversified, global product development environment \nSix Sigma Greenbelt certification\nUnderstand development methodologies -
