Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors,\ndriving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEngineering Leadership\nLead and grow a Process Automation (PA) and Life Cycle Services and Solutions (LSS) global organization of software engineers, technical leads, architects, and engineering managers.\nBuild a high-performing engineering culture focused on innovation, accountability, execution excellence, and customer outcomes.\nDrive hiring, mentoring, succession planning, and employee development.\nEstablish best practices for Agile development, DevOps, software quality, and engineering productivity.\nOwn the technology roadmap for cloud-based industrial software solutions.\nLead development of SaaS applications, cloud services, and digital platforms.\nDrive cloud-native architectures utilizing scalable microservices and APIs.\nOversee development of operational dashboards, analytics platforms, asset management solutions, and industrial applications.\nEnsure high availability, reliability, scalability, and observability of software platforms.\nDrive development of software solutions supporting: Total Distributed Control ( TDC), and Experion software\nLead software integration across OT and IT environments.\nEnsure interoperability across industrial communication protocols and enterprise systems.\nLead development of connected software solutions that enable: Device onboarding and lifecycle management, Remote monitoring and diagnostics, Predictive maintenance, Industrial IoT applications, Edge-to-cloud connectivity, Digital twin and analytics capabilities\nDrive software architecture strategies across embedded, edge, and cloud layers.\nChampion secure-by-design software development practices.\nEnsure compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards.\nPartner with cybersecurity teams to develop secure connected solutions.\nImplement secure software lifecycle and vulnerability management processes.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nCollaborate closely with Global Product Management, Systems Engineering, Hardware, Firmware, UX, Quality, and Operations teams.\nWork directly with strategic customers to understand requirements and influence product direction.\nAlign engineering investments with business growth objectives.\n YOU MUST HAVE\n10+ years of software engineering experience.\n7+ years of engineering management experience leading software organizations.\nExperience delivering commercial software products and cloud-based platforms.\nExperience leading large-scale software development programs in industrial or mission-critical environments.\nExperience in Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Building Automation, Energy Management, or Connected Products.\nExperience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.\nExperience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience developing cloud-native SaaS platforms and microservices.\nKnowledge of industrial communication protocols including: OPC UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profinet\nFamiliarity with industrial control systems including DCS, SCADA, PLC, and edge automation platforms.\nExperience leading globally distributed engineering teams.\nWE VALUE\nBachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\nExperience in managing large-scale engineering projects and diverse teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.\nKnowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\nIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
