Your expertise in facilities management will not only enhance the productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall success of the P3 contract and its deliverables.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for overseeing the healthcare facility\nEngage in the operation of facilities management.\nEnsuring timely completion and adherence to Facility Asset Preventive maintenance plans\nOversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.\nDevelop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with our organization’s goals and objectives.\nCreate, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards.\nManage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organization’s assets are well-maintained.\nEnsure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits, and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards.\nCollaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels.\nImplement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.\nConduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other crises.\nCollaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives.\nStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices.\nLead, guide, and develop talent within the team to foster professional growth and enhance overall organizational capability.\nP3 Contract Risk Management.\n YOU MUST HAVE:\nPost-secondary education in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or manager role.\nMinimum of 5 years of vendor, sub-contractor, health and safety management experience. \nImmunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act\nWE VALUE:\nExperience in facilities management in a healthcare environment\nExperience in P3 contracts\nExperience with budget management - plan, manage, and control the annual operating budget for facility services, including cost forecasting, reconciliation, and improvements. \nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nAttention to detail and strong organizational skills\nExperience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives\nStrong knowledge of building systems and equipment\nStrong understanding of latent issues and effective risk management practices\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills\nUnderstanding of legislative and regulatory requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Marshal, Ministry of Labor, Ontario Accessibility Act). \nThe annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 in Brampton, Ontario.
