This role demands a technology leader with deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong IT and cloud networking experience.\nYou will report directly to our Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.\nHybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday - Friday.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nStrategic Vision and Roadmap Development\nDefine and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with Honeywell’s business objectives.\nDevelop multi-year roadmaps for transitioning from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.\nIdentify and promote innovative cloud technologies to drive business growth.\nCollaborate with cloud vendors to establish best practices and strategic partnerships.\nDesign and Implementation of Cloud Solutions\nLead the design and deployment of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure.\nIntegrate cloud solutions with existing enterprise systems and processes.\nEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and industry regulations.\nIT and Cloud Networking and Troubleshooting\nImplement monitoring and other cloud management tools to optimize cloud performance.\nTroubleshoot cloud IT networking (subnets, ACLs, load balancers, DNS) related production issues, engage appropriate parties (on-premise networking team, cybersecurity, vendors), and drive through to resolution.\nDevelop troubleshooting guides and provide insight for RCA (root cause analysis).\nUpdate code and troubleshoot failures in infrastructure as code scripts.\nCloud Architecture\nDevelop and design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), covering compute, networking, storage, identity, and managed platform services that adhere to enterprise architecture standards.\nLead cloud migration and modernization initiatives (on premises to cloud platforms), leveraging services such as GCP Migration Center, Landing Zones, and cloud native architectures (microservices, containers, Kubernetes).\nCollaborate with application teams, cybersecurity, and operations to define cloud governance, networking, and security models, implementing best practices for IAM, network segmentation, monitoring, resilience, and compliance across multi cloud environments.\nStakeholder Management\nEngage with senior executives to align cloud strategies with business goals.\nCollaborate with vendors, internal users, and partners to ensure successful delivery of cloud projects.\nBuild strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups.\nContinuous Improvement and Innovation\nStay current with cloud, GenAI and IT networking trends to drive innovation.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance IT capabilities and business value.\nImplement feedback loops for continuous improvement in cloud operations and architecture practices.\n YOU MUST HAVE\n10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud operations, and IT networking.\nProven expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform), with experience in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience with security architecture, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance standards.\nHands-on experience with architecture modeling tools and technologies relevant to enterprise IT environments.\nWE VALUE\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\nGoogle Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\nIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
