You will establish development standards, architectural governance, and platform best practices while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.\nAs a senior technical leader, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, enterprise architects, and external technology partners to develop innovative Salesforce-based solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.\nAt Honeywell, our people leaders play a critical role in developing and supporting employees to perform at their best, driving innovation, fostering inclusion, and building strong technical organizations.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSalesforce Platform Architecture\nOwn the architectural vision and technical roadmap for Salesforce-based applications and platform capabilities.\nDesign secure, scalable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions that support enterprise business processes.\nEstablish Salesforce architecture standards, governance processes, and development frameworks.\nLead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for major platform initiatives.\nDrive adoption of Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, and emerging platform capabilities.\nApplication Development Leadership\nLead teams building custom applications on the Salesforce Platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce,\nAPIs, and Platform Events.\nProvide hands-on architectural guidance for complex application development initiatives.\nDrive engineering excellence through CI/CD automation, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps best practices.\nEnsure platform solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.\nEstablish coding standards and application lifecycle management processes.\nIntegration & Enterprise Solutions\nArchitect integration solutions connecting Salesforce with ERP, data platforms, marketing systems, cloud platforms, and external applications.\nDefine API-first, event-driven, and service-oriented integration patterns.\nPartner with enterprise architecture and data teams to establish scalable customer and operational data strategies.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory requirements.\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nBuild, mentor, and lead a team of Salesforce architects, technical leads, and software engineers.\nCreate a culture centered on innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSupport hiring, succession planning, employee development, and retention initiatives.\nProvide technical coaching and career development opportunities for team members.\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with business leaders and product teams to translate business requirements into strategic platform solutions.\nPartner with Salesforce and other technology vendors to leverage emerging technologies and best practices.\nAlign platform investments with measurable business outcomes and customer value.\nCommunicate architectural strategies, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.\n10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.\n7+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform development and architecture experience.\n3+ years leading Salesforce development, architecture, or engineering teams.\nExtensive experience designing and building enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform.\nStrong hands-on expertise with: Apex Development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, Integration Architecture, Data Modeling, and Security & Sharing Architecture\nExperience leading implementations across Salesforce Platform.\nProven success delivering large-scale Salesforce Managed Packages as an ISV.\nExperience implementing DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and Agile delivery practices.\nWE VALUE\nSalesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certifications.\nExperience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, Einstein AI, MuleSoft, and Industry Clouds.\nExperience building highly customized Salesforce applications beyond standard CRM configurations.\nKnowledge of AWS, Azure, and enterprise cloud architecture patterns.\nStrong understanding of microservices, API management, and modern integration architectures.\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience driving enterprise digital transformation initiatives.\nProven ability to influence technical strategy across multiple business and technology organizations.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $250,000. This position is incentive plan eligible. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
