Reporting to the Vice President, Controller, this position provides strategic leadership to the accounting team, ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, drives continuous process improvement, and supports the Company's growth initiatives, including acquisitions and business integrations.\nThe ideal candidate is a highly motivated CPA with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional leadership capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to improve processes, leverage technology, and develop high-performing teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the accounting function, including general accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and create/maintain accounting policies, procedures, and financial reporting standards.\nOversee and strengthen the Company's internal control environment to ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard company assets.\nCoordinate and lead the annual financial statement audit, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.\nDrive continuous improvement and optimization of the financial close process to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.\nPartner with the Controller and CFO to conduct detailed balance sheet reviews and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.\nLeverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technologies to automate processes, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance overall finance operations.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain standardized accounting policies and procedures across the enterprise.\nSupport strategic initiatives, system implementations, and business transformation efforts.\nRecruit, develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting organization while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.\nCollaborate effectively with FP&A, Sales, Operations, and IT, and other business leaders to support organizational objectives.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Accounting.\nActive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.\n10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.\nStrong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.\nDemonstrated experience leading financial statement audits.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExperience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.\nProven experience leading, developing, and managing accounting teams.\nExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.\nStrong communication and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.\nPreferred\nPublic accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred).\nManufacturing, beverage, consumer products, or distribution industry experience.\nExperience integrating acquired businesses and leading accounting transition activities.\nExperience driving finance transformation, process automation, and system implementations.\nWe offer a competitive salary of $180-210k. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
