The actual duties required of this position will vary.\nPlan, lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime.\nMaintain all production line machinery and equipment to manufacturers specifications; including reading and understanding all machine manuals.\nComplete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, and structural components.\nRepair, maintain, rebuild, operate & troubleshoot all mechanical equipment.\nAdjust all equipment as needed.\nMake all welding repairs.\nMonitor refrigeration equipment.\nExecute plant prevention maintenance program.\nParticipate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations.\nWork with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met.\nCommunicate daily with Quality Control, Supervisors and Machine Operators.\nReport maintenance problems to supervisors verbally and written follow-up.\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.\n\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:\nKnowledge of machine shop, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics & trouble-shooting.\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance field using high-speed manufacturing production equipment.\nFlexible to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.\nStrong mechanical skills with Machinist / part fabrication experience is a must.\nPLC experience is desired.\nSolid computer skills including the use of Word and Excel.\nRefrigeration Engineer’s License a plus.\nSolid problem solving and decision-making skills.\nAbility to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.\nAble to lift, push, pull 60 lbs. as needed.\nGeneral Maintenance Tools (Brooms, Mops, Hand and Power Tools).\n\nThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required by personnel so classified.
