They are also responsible for executing other special activities developed by the Company. Employees in these positions work in the field and visit accounts and prospective accounts directly to meet with customers. Employees are expected to achieve their designated sales goals for all corporate brands in their assigned area.\n\nREPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: \nThe primary responsibility of this position to make direct sales to customers and prospective customers at their business locations. While specific duties may vary by customer, employees are expected to perform the following duties in connection with their primary responsibility of outside sales:\nMeet directly with responsible customer employees at their business locations to drive outside sales revenue and growth and increase distribution of National Brands in assigned area.\nDevelop assigned sales area by constantly prospecting for new accounts through outside sales calls.\nDevelop a sales plan for each outside sales call to reach volume and distribution goals, as defined by the Company’s objectives.\nAnticipate objections from customers and prospective customers and have action plan to address.\nMake all sales calls on assigned days; work to minimize customer phone calls.\nProvide efficient service and merchandising (as appropriate) to all accounts that will enhance the image of all corporate brands with consumers and retail customers.\nKnow your products and promotional programs.\nEnsure that all product in the account is saleable and in code.\nMaintain or increase shelf facings for all brand and products according to company standards.\nSolicit and maintain secondary displays or wings for all promotional activity.\nInsure distribution of all authorized product on every visit to your accounts.\nIdentify problems and competitive activity on your route and communicate to your immediate supervisor.\nFollow Company guidelines or policies acting immediately when expected on product complaints or major recall issues.\nFollow up on special dealer requests “Grand Opening”, banner requests, etc.\nNotify vending department of anticipated or known customer closings in ample time to retrieve equipment.\nRetrieve voice mail messages twice each day and act with urgency on customers’ requests.\nMaintain a strong working relationship with all key personnel in your accounts.\nProperly complete all new account forms and submit daily with appropriate state tax exempt forms. Maintain accurate sales book entries, submit all required paperwork in a timely manner and properly completed.\nMaintain all assigned company property and/or equipment in a clean condition. Report any malfunctions immediately.\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned.\n\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION: \n\nRequired:\nEquivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and two years successful sales and/or customer contact experience.\n\nPreferred:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.\nSales experience\n\nREPRESENTATIVE MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND/OR SOFTWARE USED: \nThe following machines, tools, equipment and/or software are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. Actual machines, tools, equipment and/or software used will vary.\nOffice equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.\nMS Office including Word and Excel. \nENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC WORKING CONDITIONS:\nThe following environmental/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual working conditions will vary.\nTravel to and from customer accounts (Interior/Exterior working conditions).\nOffice environment, primarily at customer business locations.\n\nWe offer a competitive salary of $75.07/Daily with commision incentives. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
