Provide guidance, expertise and leadership to Warehouse Supervisors and Associates. Manager may be required to work different shifts to resolve/cover/support the management team.\n\nREPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: \nThe following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.\nManage Warehouse Supervisors and Associates providing guidance and expertise.\nResponsible for all warehouse operations.\nResponsible for all vacations and planned objectives.\nDevelops work schedules and assigns supervisors accordingly.\nInitiate and monitor all safety policies.\nMonitor regulatory compliance.\nReview completed accident reports.\nEvaluate performance of Associates.\nResponsible to ensure warehouse and grounds are always clean and orderly.\nMay conduct performance reviews.\nPartner with Human Resources to interview and hire most qualified person for openings.\nTrain all or ensure that all warehouse personnel are trained on all warehouse equipment.\nProvide coaching, counseling, and discipline up to and including termination of employment as necessary or recommend such to the Director of Warehouse Operations.\nDrive P&L initiatives.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field and 7 years Warehouse Management experience; OR 10 years Warehouse Management experience.\nHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.\nPrevious experience in union environment.\nStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop and motivate high performing teams.\nExperience developing and managing to daily KPIs to understand performance and progress towards long term strategic goals\nProven ability to use analytics and management reporting to develop and execute improvement actions.\nRelated training or certification.\nExperience working in a team environment.\nPrevious WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.\nExperience in Food Safety environment developing and executing GMPs, allergen and sanitation programs in a warehousing environment.\n\nWe offer a salary of $85k-$100k. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
