This role focuses on operational support, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting within established standards and architectures. The Level II engineer works under guidance from senior engineers and contributes to projects and platform enhancements.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nImplements and Supports Server & Hybrid Cloud Solutions: Deploys, configures, and maintains Windows/Linux server platforms and hybrid cloud components following established standards. Provides technical support and assists with troubleshooting moderately complex issues for stakeholders and end users.\nTechnical Issue Resolution: Works with peers and vendors to resolve system issues, service requests, and workflow challenges.\nTechnology Evaluation Assistance: Supports assessments of new technologies and provides input on improvements to enhance operations.\nLifecycle Management: Apply patches, firmware updates, and version upgrades for server platforms.\nAutomation: Maintain and update scripts for routine tasks using PowerShell or similar tools.\nCertificate Management: Support certificate generation and renewal processes in compliance with security standards.\nSecurity & Compliance: Follow hardening baselines and RBAC principles per InfoSec guidelines.\nSolution Documentation: Prepares and updates technical documentation for implemented solutions.\nTraining Support: Assists in creating knowledge transfer materials for support teams\nProject Participation: Contribute to small-scale projects under guidance from senior engineers.\nStandards Compliance: Follows established change management, documentation, and project guidelines.\nQuality Deliverables: Ensures accuracy in documentation and solutions delivered.\nProfessional Collaboration: Participates in team meetings and communicates effectively with peers and vendors.\nQuality Assurance & Change Control: Executes testing plans and validates changes according to procedures.\nRelease Support: Assists with version release processes and compliance checks.\nProcess Improvement: Suggests operational improvements and documents interface changes.\nIncident Response: Participate in incident triage and resolution for server platforms.\nRoot Cause Analysis: Performs troubleshooting and workflow analysis to resolve technical issues.\nOperational Alignment: Ensures solutions meet organizational and regulatory requirements.\nProcedure Development: Updates documentation for Service Desk to improve resolution times.\nAction Plan Execution: Implements approved system changes and communicates updates to stakeholders.\nCross-Team Collaboration: Works with other teams and vendors to resolve issues and optimize processes.\nVendor Interaction: Assist with opening and managing support cases as directed.\nTechnical Documentation: Maintain accurate operational procedures and configuration guides with diagrams & workflows.\nTraining & Documentation Support: Assists in preparing training materials and release briefs.\nData Quality Assurance: Validates data integrity for interfaces and conversions.\nContinuous Learning: Maintains awareness of industry trends and best practices\nOther Duties Assigned: Performs related tasks to meet the ongoing needs of the organization, including on-call participation and after-hours changes when required.\nEDUCATION\nOther / Certificate Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of progressive work related experience:Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work in lieu of degree.
