Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the overall productivity and operational success of the manufacturing process during the second shift.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.\nAbility to work the 1st shift schedule reliably and punctually with flexibility to work a 2nd shift if needed.\nBasic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.\nPhysical ability to lift and move materials as required and stand for extended periods.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in non-durable goods manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.\nFamiliarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\nStrong communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse and production areas during the 1st shift.\nLoad and unload trucks, ensuring accurate handling and placement of goods according to company standards.\nInspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment by following safety guidelines and company policies.\nCollaborate with warehouse and production staff to coordinate material flow and support inventory management.\nSkills:\nThe required skills such as forklift operation and adherence to safety protocols are essential for daily tasks involving the movement and handling of materials, ensuring both efficiency and workplace safety.
