Must be qualified to properly operate the forklift.\nComplete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.\nPull units from the main conveyor line and place them in designated area (Trailer or Location)\nDeliver appropriate units onto trailer on time.\nMaintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.\nComplete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.\nMaintain accurate location of units in storage area by paperwork and computer.\nMaximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.\nAdhere to daily production schedule. \nUtilize an RF scanner to intake product information for data logs\nComplete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.\nComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.\nAdditional duties may be assigned by management.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nPrior work experience in the corrugated industry.\n5 or more years work experience as a forklift operator.\n2 years RF Scanner experience\nAbility to work in a high paced environment\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS \nA current Lift Truck/Operator License is required.\n* Testing is required*\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions.
