The Pulp Mill Utility Support Operator plays a vital role in supporting mill operations. You’ll get hands-on with real equipment, support critical production tasks, and contribute directly to our mill’s performance, safety, and success.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment. \nWork collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.\nAssist operators and technicians with machine setup, monitoring, and maintenance.\nLoad, unload, and transport raw materials, chemicals, and finished products as needed.\nAdhere to environmental compliance guidelines and waste disposal procedures.\nOperate forklifts, skid steers, and other material handling equipment (if certified).\nMonitor and inspect production areas for potential hazards, spills, or maintenance needs. \nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues under supervision.\nFollow all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements.\nSupport shutdowns, equipment changeovers, and maintenance activities. \n\nQualifications & Skills\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mill environment is a plus.\nAbility to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.), stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks. \nBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.\nAbility to work 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. \nStrong commitment to workplace safety and following established protocols\nTeam-oriented mindset with good communication skills.\n\nWork
