The Production Supervisor is responsible for communicating and working with other department managers, the Production team, and Customer Service to ensure quality and on-time production goals are met.\nMUST HAVE:\nHigh school graduate or equivalent\nFive or more years in a leadership experience\nPrevious supervisor in a manufacturing or corrugated industry preferred\nCustomer service-related experience; or equivalent training and experience in other plant operations\nAbility to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and work in a team environment essential\nBasic computer experience (word processing, Excel and PowerPoint)\nResponsibilities:\nWorks with Safety to support excellence within the plant\nAchieve quality initiatives by leading processes to ensure lowest cost and best quality - KPI’s\nMinimizing waste within the department by driving awareness, training, and accountability\nDrive the 5s Initiatives / housekeeping\nDrive maximum throughput within the department by increasing uptimes and production speeds\nWork with the Maintenance team to maintain machine cleanliness, PM schedules, and work orders.\nParticipate in new item meetings with customer service, design, sales, and production.\nReview and analyze production reporting for accuracy.\nCoach and develop employees to maximize effectiveness.\nTrains and mentor hourly employees to achieve production goals.\nAnalyzes daily, weekly, and monthly production statistics for production to improve quality and efficiency.\nMaintains Performance boards daily.\nPerforms other related duties as required/assigned\nOur goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative, at all job levels, of the citizens and customers we serve.
