The Technical Manager will provide subject matter expertise in either Maintenance, Reliability, and/or Operations for our Corrugated Box & Converting operations in the U.S. This position will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and is remote with travel at least 75% of the time.\nJob Responsibilities\nModel safe work practices and leadership characteristics consistent with Hood Container Guiding Principles (Care, Serve, Evolve, Empower, & Trust)\nProvide Subject Matter Expertise for Maintenance, Reliability, or Operational Best Practices\nLead data analysis to identify areas for business improvement, including equipment, processes, systems, or other elements of the business \nDevelop strategic and tactical plans to achieve measurable improvements around safety, quality, productivity, reliability, waste, and costs \nLead, coach, and mentor employees to utilize continuous improvement tools, such as Lean Manufacturing, statistical analysis, scientific thinking, root cause analysis, and standard work \nLead on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic events, partner with leadership to develop project road map and key milestones for sustainable practices \nCommunicate findings, action plans, and status updates to multiple levels of the organization (including VP of Operations) \nEffectively engage other subject matter experts, site leaders, operators, and OEM/Vendors\n Requirements:\nDemonstrated expertise in Corrugated Industry, preferrable experienced with diverse converting equipment \nExperiencing using a process approach to make operational improvements (E.g.
