Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nPlans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance program designed to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.\nWork Schedule: M-F 7:30am to 5:00pm; Some weekends/off-shift hours required based on business need.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nFormulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.\nInterprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.\nPerforms quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.\nApplies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.\nDecides whether to accept a product or continue business with a vendor based on a review by the quality assurance engineer.\nReviews all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.\nDevelops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.\nKeeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.\nPrepares and presents technical and program information to the management team.\nDirects technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.\nMaintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.\nPlays an active role on quality management teams within the organization.\nDevelops a culture of proactive quality\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Dairy Science is preferred or, equivalent experience in dairy processing and quality assurance.\nMinimum of two years training and experience in dairy manufacturing\nSupervisory experience\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.\nSkills and Competencies:\nCustomer focus\nJob Knowledge\nCommunication\nInterpersonal Skills\nProblem Solving\nResults Focused\nSense of Urgency\nLeadership\nQuality and Continuous Improvement\nFood Safety, Quality & Regulatory\n#LI-GD1 #LI-Onsite\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$101,800—$116,900 USD\nReady to join us?
