Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEstablish and maintain Quality standards and procedures for production.\nSupport development of a culture of proactive quality.\nOversee facility sanitation program to meet Regulatory and Corporate Requirements.\nSupport facility Quality Management Systems (QMS) program to meet Regulatory and Corporate Requirements.\nSupervise lab technicians and maintain staff work schedule.\nObtain/Maintain certification and/or licensing for Regulatory testing.\nExpedite all product testing in support of plant operations and communicate non-compliances in a timely fashion to appropriate Managers for corrective action.\nReview production-testing results and records for compliance.\nMaintain Food Safety/Food Quality plans and monitor CCP's/CQP's.\nFile Regulatory reports as needed regarding Milk testing and record keeping.\nAssist in troubleshooting quality issues and customer complaints.\nTraining new employees and retraining current employees in GMP's and procedures.\nMaintain/modify/create SOP's as needed.\nMaintain lab records for regulatory, third Party and internal QMS audits.\nMaintain SQF Practitioner status.\nSupport SQF by coordinating the Internal Audit Program.\nAttend safety meetings, perform safety audits and actively support safety team.\nServe as a back-up for the QA Manager.\nApply statistical process control (SPC) methodology to data analysis to evaluate current process and process changes.\nAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nUnderstand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way.\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum of an Associate's degree in Dairy/Food Science or other related curriculum preferred.\nMinimum of 2-5 years quality assurance background in a dairy/food lab or equivalent.\nSkills and Competencies:\nStrong analytical, organizational and communication skills.\nCertification and/or License: Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification or attainment of PCQI within 12 months of hiring.\nMature leadership and team building skills.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$79,700—$92,200 USD\nReady to join us?
