Responsibilities include: Under supervision of higher-level mechanic, have the ability to learn proper troubleshooting and repairing of equipment associated in production in a timely manner as well as the maintenance of all building support equipment, including but not limited to air, water, steam, hydraulic, refrigeration, and electric systems.\nJob Responsibilities:\nProperly troubleshoot and repair all equipment associated with in the production facility, in a timely manner with supervision\nPerform preventative maintenance on all production, and warehouse equipment;\nProperly perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing duties as required;\nRebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, bundler headers, conveyors, etc.\nComplete assigned work orders by their required due dates;\nComplete assigned housekeeping duties as required;\nCommunicate to Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager of any condition that prevents the manufacture of product to established standards;\nWork in a safe manner, in compliance with Company, State and Federal GMP’s, SOP’s and company Policy and Procedures;\nAbility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies, as needed;\nPossess own basic hand tools necessary to perform the requirements of the position;\nWork effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude;\nOther duties assigned\nEducation and Experience: \nMust take in house mechanical aptitude test.\nBasic math and reading skills;\nAbility to work independently or in a group/team atmosphere;\nGood organizational and time management skills.\n Other Information/Physical Requirements (if needed)\nCommunication:\nRequired to talk and hear\nVisual: Ability to read small print (manuals)\nDexterity:\nAbility to use hand and fingers to perform tasks\nAbility to perform tasks while lying on back /side\nAbility to perform tasks on knees and in awkward positions\nAbility to perform tasks in limited access areas as well as cramped, awkward and confined spaces.\nStanding: Long periods of time.
