Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nThe Parts/Purchasing Assistant will maintain both inventory levels and receiving of new inventory for the Batavia Plant\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nMaintain the accuracy of the inventory management system Modula and MP2 Systems.\nReview purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.\nWill request quotes from vendors.\nBe crossed trained and act as a back up for the Purchasing Supervisor in issuing restock purchase orders.\nBe crossed trained and act as a back up for the Purchasing Supervisor in processing payment for purchase orders and other invoicing tasks.\nExport reports out or Modula and MP2 system into Excel.\nManage Excel reports to maintain accurate data.\nAddress shipping, receiving, payment issues with outside vendors accordingly.\nReceive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly.\nAssist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary.\nServe as a point of contact to answer internal questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.\nPrepare and participate in physical inventory.\nAssist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stockroom.\nPrepare and distribute department information to leadership as needed.\nPerform other tasks as assigned.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nAdvanced Computer Skill (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).\nAbility to type at least 50 words a minute.\nExcellent organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal communication and human relation skills.\nAttention to detail.\nExcellent administrative skills and perception.\nTraining and/or experience as an administrator or other clerical assignment.\nPhysical Requirements: \nStanding: Moderately\nSitting: Occasionally (3-4 hours per day)\nWalking: Moderately\nBending: Moderately\nTwisting of Spine: Occasionally\nLifting: Moderately\nPushing/Pulling: Occasionally (under 75 lbs. without assistance)\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$25.57—$26.79 USD\nReady to join us?
