Evaluate material handling, batching and process while \nmaintaining proper documentation. Contribute cross-functionally in the development, process design, scale up, and \ncommercialization of new and renovated products following data driven decisions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nImplement projects focused on efficiency, sustainability, profit and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and demonstrate as a technical resource for the manufacturing and support functions\nContribute to solve chronic issues associated with product process\nHelp process tasks on large capital projects\nImplement trialing of new ingredients and products\nContribute process development to meet production; measures process capabilities with the plants.\nActively look into material handling, batching, and process and new technology and equipment to improve the \nprocess/efficiency\nDocument batch, process, and equipment changes in Product Lifecycle Management\nParticipating in process - Management of Changes\nTravel required as needed for business\nAbility to lift 50 lbs\nLong standing hours on the floor during trials and commercialization\nEducation and Experience:\n0-3 years of dairy/ food and beverage industry experience \nExposure to dairy/food industry through internships \nEntry level BS/MS Agricultural/Biological/Biosystem or Chemical Engineering degree or relevant scientific field of \nstudy\nSkills and Competencies:\nDemonstrates technical knowledge of engineering and/or data analysis.\nFundamental knowledge of Hood products and processes.\nAbility and capacity to manage assigned projects.\nUtilize knowledge associated with Design of experiments, statistical analysis, and Statistical Process Control.\nAssist authoring Draft Process Instructions/Specifications and Semi Finished Goods Specifications\nExact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.\nThe pay range for this position is\n$77,000—$84,000 USD\nReady to join us?
