Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.\nJob Summary:\nThe Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely and efficiently handling quality products in a manner consistent with HP Hood LLC Standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLoads and unloads trailers in a safe efficient manner.\nOperate a forklift and battery charger in a safe manner.\nUtilize inventory management system efficiently and accurately.\nManifest loads correctly.\nOperate all equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.\nWork in safe manner, in compliance with Federal, State and company GMP’s, SOP’s and adhering to administrative policies.\nSubmit work orders and maintain equipment.\nComplete paperwork as per government regulations and HP Hood requirements.\nSafely operate all assigned equipment following all policies and procedures.\nMaintain communication with other plant team members.\nCompliance with all OSHA regulations as well as 100% plant safety policies\nResponsible for general plant cleanliness with the expectation of being inspection ready 24/7.\nAll other assignments given by Supervision.\nEducation and Experience: \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nBasic math and computer skills; Experience with barcode scanners.\nExperience working with powered industrial trucks.\nWarehouse experience preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move objects exceeding 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.\nAbility to lift greater than 50 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions.\nSkills and Competencies:\nTeam oriented; Ability to collaborate and operate in a team environment; Ability to work independently.\nAbility to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team based environment.\nHP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer \n Female/Minority/Veteran/Disabled\n\"VERVRAA Federal Contractor\"\nThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
