Ensures all designs aligned with the scope, specifications, and requirements of each assigned contract.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign comprehensive HVAC systems (including ductwork, piping, controls) for design-build projects, adhering to local, state, and national codes, as well as recommended design practices, standards, and guidelines.\nPrepare detailed construction documents, schedules, details, ductwork and piping specifications. \nPerforma HVAC calculations using computer aided modeling software as well as size ductwork and piping. \nCoordinates design layouts with other trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure proper system integration and fit within the building structure.\nSecures necessary approvals from architects, engineers, owners, local authorities, and insurance companies; maintains organized project records throughout the design process.\nCommunicate with stakeholders to resolve design issues, manage change orders, and assist with technical documentation such as RFIs. \nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nRequirements\nExperience: Preferred 2 years with developing 2D and 3D drawings\nEducation: 2-year associates degree in drafting design or 4 years’ equivalent experience in mechanical trades\nTechnical Skills: Analytical skills, knowledge of construction industry software programs\nBehavioral Skills: Comfortable working in a team environment with multiple ongoing projects\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nExperience with AutoCAD, NAVIS works, REVIT, REVIT MEP, or other relevant software.
