Hooper provides competitive compensation and many supportive benefits including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Matching 401(k) plan, Paid Time Off (PTO), 9 paid holidays, Identity Theft Protection, Life Insurance, as well as Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage.\nGeneral Summary:\nResponsible for supporting the procurement and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment for the HVAC Department in Port Washington.\nPrincipal Accountabilities:\nProcurement of material, equipment, tools, and supplies for Jobsites.\nProcurement of rental tools and equipment for Jobsites.\nResearch new material, tools, and equipment.\nProcure, compare, and evaluate quotes from suppliers.\nReview quality of purchased products.\nTrack material and review back-order reports to ensure materials are delivered on time.\nWork with Project Managers and Foreman to obtain special item requests.\nWork with Trucking Supervisor to schedule material and tool deliveries.\nServes as backup to other Central Receiving positions as required with miscellaneous duties when directed.\nMaintains good communication and relationships with Fab Shop and Jobsite Foreman.\nMatches invoice packing slips.\nDelivery Processing.\nPerforms other duties/special projects as assigned.\nRequirements\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\nStrong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills with a high school diploma or GED\nGood Organizational skills.\nGood verbal communication skills required.\nBasic computer skills required.\nComfortable working in a team environment and responsible for handling inventory and equipment.\nDescription of physical working environment:\nThe ability to climb up and down ladders and steps is required with or without reasonable accommodation.\nRequires continuous standing, walking, and lifting.
